Our first campground has remained our home base for exploring the upper trace. We've had no reason to leave this campground with the days in the 70's and cool nights, great for campfires, and best of all, this place is FREE! Today the winds have shifted and many of the remaining leaves have fallen. We'll need to leave in the next few days to empy tanks and fill our water but for now, this is home.
