April Fools? Maybe!

Many have told us we have come back too soon, the ice is still on the lake and the snow lingers in the yard. But when you are traveling through the midwest in the spring and get a nice window of weather, you take it. That's how we found ourselves last week as we traveled home in a marathon sprint through Iowa. Our last campground was empty except for a small herd of deer and a Canadian couple traveling home a month earlier than usual. But our first night home was very enjoyable with a long hot bath after unloading the RV. It takes us a few days to get everything in place, from turning on the water to washing every dusty corner but we take our time. Blue was a little overwhelmed at first moving from 8' x 33' to over 3100 square feet, but the fear soon turned into hours of running and playing fetch. He is very happy to be home in the big house, and so are we. Thanks to everyone that followed our journey, and a special thanks to those who watched our home while we were gone. Please join us again next fall.
